I would imagine going 15k or so would be doable using oil analysis and just filter changes. It cost me about 100$ t6 rotella and ac delco filter to do an oil change. At 5k interval it is about .02$ a mile without considering oil analysis. I'm more concerned about the oil filter than the oil itself. T6 seems pretty robust oil.
